Jesus said, Truly do I say to you, There is no one who hath left house, or brothers, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or lands, for the sake of me and of the glad tidings, who will not receive a hundredfold in the time that now is, houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions, and in the world to come everlasting life.
And every one who hath left brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or children, or lands, or houses, for the sake of my name, will receive many fold more, and will inherit everlasting life.
And he said to them, Truly do I say to you, There is no one that hath left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who will not receive many fold more in the present time, and in the world to come everlasting life.
But seek first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will also be given you.
For bodily exercise is profitable for little; but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

but ye have come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem; and to myriads, the general assembly of angels; and to the church of the firstborn, who are enrolled in heaven; and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of righteous men made perfect; and to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant; and to a sprinkling with that blood which speaketh something better than Abel.
give us this day our daily bread;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
and forgive us our sins, for even we ourselves forgive every one that is indebted to us; and lead us not into temptation.

I can do all things in him who strengtheneth me.
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world; and it is certain we can carry nothing out. If we have, then, food and raiment, we will be therewith content.
And he said to them, Take heed and beware of all covetousness; for even when one hath great abundance, his life doth not depend upon his possessions. And he spoke a parable to them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully. If with the views of men I fought with wild beasts at Ephesus, what advantage is it to me? If the dead rise not, "let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die."
whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, whose mind is on earthly things.
But they who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all evils; which some coveting have strayed away from the faith, and have pierced themselves through with many pangs.
Come now, ye that say, Today and tomorrow we will go into such a city, and spend a year there and traffic, and get gain, (whereas ye know not what will be on the morrow; for what is your life? Ye are even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away;) instead of saying, If the Lord will, we shall both live and do this or that;read more.
but now ye glory in your boastings. All such glorying is evil. Therefore to him that knoweth how to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
Charge those who are rich in this world that they be not highminded, nor place their hope in uncertain riches, but in God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; that they do good,
(for he saith: "In an accepted time I heard thee, and in the day of salvation I helped thee;" Behold, now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation;)
See then that ye walk circumspectly; not as unwise men, but as wise; buying up for yourselves opportunities, because the days are evil.
So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
