And the jailer awakening out of sleep, and seeing the prisondoors open, drew his sword, and was about to kill himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped. But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm, for we are all here.

saying, The prison we found shut in all security and the keepers standing at the doors: but when we opened them, we found no one within.

And the jailer reported these words to Paul: The magistrates have sent to release you; now therefore come out, and go in peace.

And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be loosed out of his prison;
