And all that believed were together, and had all things common, And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all, as any one had need. And continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking the bread at home, they ate their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added daily to the church those who were saved.

And many of those who believed came, confessing and openly declaring their deeds. Many also of those who had practised curious arts, bringing their books together, burnt them before all men, and they computed the value of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. So powerfully did the word of God grow and prevail.
