See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God, that no one be like a bitter root springing up and causing trouble, and through him many become defiled.

But if you have bitter jealousy and selfishness in your hearts, do not boast and tell lies against the truth. Such wisdom does not come from above but is earthly, natural, demonic.

Do not grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be judged. See, the judge stands before the gates!

Show hospitality to one another without complaining.

A relative offended is harder to reach than a strong city, and disputes are like the barred gates of a fortified citadel.

The one who forgives an offense seeks love, but whoever repeats a matter separates close friends.

A person's wisdom makes him slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.

I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content in any circumstance.

Now godliness combined with contentment brings great profit. For we have brought nothing into this world and so we cannot take a single thing out either. But if we have food and shelter, we will be satisfied with that.read more.
Those who long to be rich, however, stumble into temptation and a trap and many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all evils. Some people in reaching for it have strayed from the faith and stabbed themselves with many pains.

Your conduct must be free from the love of money and you must be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you and I will never abandon you."
