Now to him that worketh the reward is not reckoned as a favor, but as a debt: but to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him who justifieth the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.

Take what is thine, and be gone: it is my pleasure to give to this last as I do to thee; and may I not do what I will with my own?

But which of you having a servant plowing, or feeding cattle, will say to him, as soon as he comes in from the field, Come hither and sit down at table? But will he not rather say to him, Get ready my supper, and gird thyself, and wait upon me, till I have done, and afterwards thou shalt eat and drink. I think not. So likewise ye, when ye have done all things that were commanded you, say we are unprofitable servants, for we have done only what we ought to do.

And if by grace, it is no more of works: for then grace is no longer grace. But if of works, it is no more grace: for then work is no longer work. What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he sought: but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded,

For by grace ye are saved, through faith: and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: not by works, that no one may boast: for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, for which God before prepared us, that we might walk in them.

who will render to every one according to his works: to them, who by perseverance in well-doing seek for glory, and honor, and immortality, eternal life: but to those who are contentious, and obey not the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath.read more.
Tribulation and anguish shall be upon every soul of man that worketh evil, both of the Jew, and of the Gentile: but glory, and honor, and peace to every one that worketh good, both to the Jew, and to the Greek: for there is no respect of persons with God.

And he that planteth, and he that watereth, are as one: but each shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.

But this I say, He that soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he that soweth bountifully shall also reap bountifully.

Be not deceived, God is not to be mocked: for whatever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. He then, who soweth to his flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he, that soweth to the Spirit, shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in doing good: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

knowing that whatever good any one doth, he shall receive the reward of it from the Lord, whether He be a slave or free.

but he that doth unjustly, shall receive for what wrong he hath done; and there is no respect of persons with God:

For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

seeing it is a righteous thing with God to render affliction to those that afflict you;

For this reason we ought the more earnestly to attend to what we have heard, least by any means we should be found deficient. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received it's just recompence;

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and co-heirs with Christ: if so be we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified with Him. And I account the sufferings of this present time not worthy to be set against the glory that shall be revealed to us.

rejoice and be exceeding glad; for great will be your reward in heaven: for so they persecuted the prophets, that were before you.

And if ye lend to those from whom ye expect to receive, what thanks are due to you? for sinners also lend to sinners that they may receive an equivalent. But do ye love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing from it: and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the sons of the most High; for He is kind even to the ungrateful and the wicked:

But as it is written, "Eye hath not seen, and ear hath not heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, what things God hath prepared for those that love Him." But God hath revealed them to us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, even the deep things of God.

But he that looketh well into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

and being in the human state, He humbled himself, and was obedient even unto death, and that the death of the cross. Wherefore God hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name above every name: that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of celestial beings, as well as of those on earth, and of those under the earth;read more.
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

looking unto Jesus the leader and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Wherefore consider Him who endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, that ye may not give out, fainting in your minds:

Blessed are they, who are persecuted for righteousness sake; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

And indeed all, that are desirous to live godly in Christ Jesus, shall suffer persecution.
