Righteousness will be ours if we are careful to follow every one of these commands before the Lord our God, as He has commanded us.'
These are the family records of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among his contemporaries; Noah walked with God.

who despises the one rejected by the Lord, but honors those who fear the Lord, who keeps his word whatever the cost, who does not lend his money at interest or take a bribe against the innocent- the one who does these things will never be moved.
You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you, more than your companions, with the oil of joy.
The path of the righteous is level; You clear a straight path for the righteous. Yes, Lord, we wait for You in the path of Your judgments. Our desire is for Your name and renown. I long for You in the night; yes, my spirit within me diligently seeks You, for when Your judgments are [in] the land, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
Let whoever is wise understand these things, and whoever is insightful recognize them. For the ways of the Lord are right, and the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.

"Wash yourselves. Cleanse yourselves. Remove your evil deeds from My sight. Stop doing evil. Learn to do what is good. Seek justice. Correct the oppressor. Defend the rights of the fatherless. Plead the widow's cause.
This is what the Lord says: Administer justice and righteousness. Rescue the victim of robbery from the hand of his oppressor. Don't exploit or brutalize the alien, the fatherless, or the widow. Don't shed innocent blood in this place.
Sow righteousness for yourselves and reap faithful love; break up your untilled ground. It is time to seek the Lord until He comes and sends righteousness on you like the rain.
Seek the Lord, all you humble of the earth, who carry out what He commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be concealed on the day of the Lord's anger.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, because they will be filled.
Stand, therefore, with truth like a belt around your waist, righteousness like armor on your chest,
Now you, man of God, run from these things; but pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness.
Flee from youthful passions, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
Therefore the wicked will not survive the judgment, and sinners will not be in the community of the righteous. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to ruin.
Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father's kingdom. Anyone who has ears should listen!
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry for help.
Better the little that the righteous man has than the abundance of many wicked people. For the arms of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord supports the righteous.
Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will support you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.
Ill-gotten gains do not profit anyone, but righteousness rescues from death. The Lord will not let the righteous go hungry, but He denies the wicked what they crave.
Wealth is not profitable on a day of wrath, but righteousness rescues from death. The righteousness of the blameless clears his path, but the wicked person will fall because of his wickedness. The righteousness of the upright rescues them, but the treacherous are trapped by their own desires.
The one who lives righteously and speaks rightly, who refuses gain from extortion, whose hand never takes a bribe, who stops his ears from listening to murderous plots and shuts his eyes to avoid endorsing evil- he will dwell on the heights; his refuge will be the rocky fortresses, his food provided, his water assured.
Those who are wise will shine like the bright expanse [of the heavens], and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.
Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The intense prayer of the righteous is very powerful.
The righteous one perishes, and no one takes it to heart; faithful men are swept away, with no one realizing that the righteous one is swept away from the presence of evil.
The Lord says: I will not relent from punishing Israel for three crimes, even four, because they sell a righteous person for silver and a needy person for a pair of sandals.
For I know your crimes are many and your sins innumerable. They oppress the righteous, take a bribe, and deprive the poor of justice at the gates.
But even if you should suffer for righteousness, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear or be disturbed,
