Samuel said, "What have you done?" Saul replied, "When? I saw that the people were scattering from me, that you didn't come at the appointed time, and that the Philistines were assembling at Michmash. I thought, "The Philistines will come down against me at Gilgal but I've not sought the favor of the LORD,' so I forced myself to offer the burnt offering."

"You are not to present any of your children to Molech as a sacrifice. That way, you won't defile the name of your God."

King Solomon and all the Israelis who had assembled together proceeded ahead of the ark and sacrificed more sheep and oxen than could be counted or recorded due to the number of sacrifices.

The LORD told Moses, "A person sins against the LORD by acting treacherously toward his neighbor regarding something entrusted to his care, regarding security for a loan, robbery, if he has oppressed his neighbor, if he has found something that had been lost and then lied about it, or if he makes a false oath about any of these things, thus committing a sin with respect to these things. read more.
If that person has sinned and has been found guilty, then he is to return the stolen thing that he took or obtained by oppression, or the security that had been entrusted to him, or the lost thing that he had found, or the thing about which he had given a false oath. He is to restore it in full, add a fifth to it, then give it to whom it belongs the very day he's found guilty. Now as to his guilt offering, he is to bring to the LORD a ram without defect from the flock, estimated as to its value, to the priest. Then the priest is to make atonement for him in the LORD's presence, and it will be forgiven him regarding whatever he did."

"This is the regulation concerning guilt offerings. They are most holy. The guilt offering is to be offered in the same place where the burnt offering is slaughtered. The priest is to sprinkle some of its blood on the altar and around it. As to all its fat that is, the fat on the tail and the fat covering the internal organs the one presenting the sacrifice is to offer it. read more.
But the two kidneys, the fat over them by the loins, and the appendage on the liver are to be taken away, along with the kidneys. In fact, under the Law almost everything is cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of the blood there is no forgiveness.

"Also, be sure to rub every offering from your grain offering with salt. You are not ever to remove the salt of the covenant of your God from your grain offering. Present all your offerings with salt."

Because everyone will be salted with fire, and every sacrifice will be salted with salt.

Then the men feared the LORD greatly, offered a sacrifice to the LORD, and made vows.

So Naaman asked, "No? Then please let your servant load two mules with dirt from Israel, because your servant will no longer offer any burnt offering or sacrifice to any other god but the LORD.

You are to consecrate the portion of the ram of ordination that belongs to Aaron and his sons: the breast of the wave offering that was waved and the thigh of the presented offering that was presented. These offerings from the Israelis are to be a perpetual ordinance for Aaron and his sons.
