And I heard a loud voice saying, "In heaven is now made salvation and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: For he is cast down which accused them before God day and night:

Then said the LORD unto Satan, "Hast thou not considered my servant Job, and how that he is an innocent and virtuous man: such one as feareth God, and escheweth evil, and that there is none like him in the land?" Satan answered, and said unto the LORD, "Doth Job fear God for naught? Hast thou not preserved him, his house, and all his substance on every side? Hast thou not blessed the work of his hands? But lay thine hand upon him a little, touch once all that he hath, and, I hold, he shall curse thee to thy face."

And he showed me Joshua the high priest, standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan stood at his righthand to resist him. And the LORD said unto Satan, 'The LORD reprove thee, thou Satan; yea, the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem, reprove thee. Is not this a brand taken out of the fire?'

Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's chosen? It is God that justifieth:
