We know also that those who love God, those who have been called in terms of his purpose, have his aid and interest in everything.

Come now, you who say, "To-day or to-morrow we are going to such and such a city; we shall spend a year there trading and making money" ??14 you who know nothing about to-morrow! For what is your life? You are but a mist, which appears for a little and then vanishes. You ought rather to say, "If the Lord will, we shall live to do this or that."

All nations he has created from a common origin, to dwell all over the earth, fixing their allotted periods and the boundaries of their abodes,

But he told them, "It is not for you to know the course and periods of time that the Father has fixed by his own authority.

When a woman is in labour she is sorry, for her time has come; but when the child is born she remembers her anguish no longer, for joy that a human being has been born into the world: So with you. Blessed is he who reads aloud, blessed they who hear the words of this prophecy and lay to heart what is written in it; for the time is near.
