In a little while the world will not see me any more, but you will still see me, because I shall live on, and you will live on too.

Then some of his disciples said to one another, "What does he mean when he tells us, 'In a little while you will not see me any longer, and a little while after, you will see me again,' and 'Because I am going away to the Father'?"
Jesus saw that they wanted to ask him a question, and he said to them, "Are you asking one another about my saying 'In a little while you will not see me any longer, and a little while after, you will see me again'?
Now go quickly and tell his disciples, 'He has risen from the dead, and is going back to Galilee before you. You will see him there.' Now I have given you my message."
Jesus said to them, "You need not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee and they will see me there."
But go and say to his disciples and to Peter, 'He is going before you to Galilee; you will see him there, just as he told you.' "
As she said this she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not know that it was he.
Mary of Magdala went and declared to the disciples, "I have seen the Master!" and she told them that he had said this to her.
When they heard that he was alive and that she had seen him, they would not believe it.
Still later he appeared to the Eleven themselves when they were at table, and reproached them for their obstinacy and want of faith, because they had not believed those who had seen him after he had been raised from the dead.
Then he showed them his hands and his side, and the disciples were full of joy at seeing the Master.
So the rest of the disciples said to him, "We have seen the Master!" But he said to them, "Unless I see the marks of the nails in his hands, and put my finger into them, and put my hand into his side, I will never believe it!"
Jesus said to him, "Is it because you have seen me that you believe? Blessed be those who believe without having seen me!"
But Barnabas got hold of him and introduced him to the apostles, and he told them how on his journey he had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken to him, and how boldly he had spoken for the cause of Jesus at Damascus.
See! He is coming on the clouds, and every eye will see him, even the men who pierced him, and all the tribes of the earth will lament over him. So it is to be, Amen.
