Above him stood the seraphim. Each one had six wings, with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.

And one cried to another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is LORD of hosts. The whole earth is full of his glory.

And the four beings, one by one, each having six wings, are full of eyes around and inside. And they have no cessation day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord, the Almighty God, he was, and who is, and who is coming.

Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said, Lo, this has touched thy lips, and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin forgiven.
