God created man in his own image. In God's image he created him; male and female he created them.

Nevertheless, neither is the woman independent of the man, nor the man independent of the woman, in the Lord.

He answered, and said, "Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, 'For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh?' So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, do not let man tear apart."

But, because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. Let the husband fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband. Likewise also the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife.

"For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh." This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the church. Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

To the woman he said, "I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth. In pain you will bring forth children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you."

For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother's womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven's sake. He who is able to receive it, let him receive it."

Now concerning the things about which you wrote: it is good for a man not to touch a woman.

"You shall not commit adultery.

"And you shall not commit adultery.

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.

but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.

who having become callous gave themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;

Put to death, therefore, whatever is worldly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

For enough time in the past has been spent doing the will of the Gentiles, and having walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, orgies, carousings, and abominable idolatries.

If any man takes a wife, and goes in to her, and hates her, and accuses her of shameful things, and brings up an evil name on her, and says, "I took this woman, and when I came near to her, I did not find in her the tokens of virginity"; then shall the father of the young lady, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the young lady's virginity to the elders of the city in the gate;read more.
and the young lady's father shall tell the elders, "I gave my daughter to this man to wife, and he hates her; and behold, he has accused her of shameful things, saying, 'I did not find in your daughter the tokens of virginity;' and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity." They shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. The elders of that city shall take the man and chastise him; and they shall fine him one hundred shekels of silver, and give them to the father of the young lady, because he has brought up an evil name on a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days. But if this thing be true, that the tokens of virginity were not found in the young lady; then they shall bring out the young lady to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with stones, because she has done folly in Israel, to play the prostitute in her father's house: so you shall put away the evil from the midst of you.

Therefore God also abandoned them in the lusts of their hearts to uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves,

"'Do not profane your daughter, to make her a prostitute; lest the land fall to prostitution, and the land become full of wickedness.

For this reason, God abandoned them to their degrading passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error.

But before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, surrounded the house, both young and old, all the people from every quarter. They called to Lot, and said to him, "Where are the men who came in to you this night? Bring them out to us, that we may have sex with them." He said, "Please, my brothers, do not act so wickedly.

"'You shall not have sexual relations with a male, as with a woman. That is detestable.

"Whoever has sex with an animal shall surely be put to death.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor men who have sexual relations with men, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers, will inherit the Kingdom of God.

But for the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."

Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.

For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like the angels in heaven.
