And it came to pass on the next day that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin, but now I will go up unto the LORD; peradventure I shall make reconciliation for your sin.

And if any one of the people of the land sins through ignorance, by doing something against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and is guilty, as soon as his sin, which he has committed, comes to his knowledge, then he shall bring as his offering, a she goat, a female without blemish, for his sin which he has committed. And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin and slay the sin in the place of the burnt offering.read more.
Then the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering and shall pour out all its blood at the bottom of the altar. And he shall take away all its fat, as the fat was taken away from off the sacrifice of peace; and the priest shall incense it upon the altar in a very acceptable aroma unto the LORD; and thus shall the priest reconcile him, and he shall have forgiveness.

By mercy and truth iniquity is purged, and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.

whom God purposed for reconciliation through faith in his blood for the manifestation of his righteousness, for the remission of sins that are past, by the patience of God,

Therefore in all things he should be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people.

Who is a God like unto thee that pardons iniquity, and passes over the rebellion with the remnant of his heritage? He did not retain his anger for ever because he delights in mercy.

So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you unless from your hearts ye forgive every one his brother their trespasses.

There was a certain creditor who had two debtors: the one owed five hundred denarius, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay, he released them both from their debt. let that one know, that whosoever causes the sinner to convert from the error of his way shall save a soul from death and shall cover a multitude of sins.

For he knew who should betray him; therefore, said he, Ye are not all clean.

And now why tarriest thou? Arise and be baptized and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts purified from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water;

And he shall ransom Israel from all his sins.

being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Jesus, the Christ, whom God purposed for reconciliation through faith in his blood for the manifestation of his righteousness, for the remission of sins that are past, by the patience of God, manifesting in this time his righteousness that he only be the just one and the justifier of him that is of the faith of Jesus.

But to him that does not work, but believes in him that justifies the ungodly, the faith is counted as righteousness.

Nor was it in the same manner as by one sin, likewise also the gift; for the judgment truly came of one sin unto condemnation, but grace came of many offenses unto justification. For if by one offense, death reigned because of one man; much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of gifts and of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus the Christ. Therefore, in the same manner that by the iniquity of one guilt came upon all men unto condemnation, even so by the righteousness of one, grace came upon all men unto justification of life.read more.
For as by one man's disobedience, many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Who shall accuse the chosen of God's? God is he that justifies them.

So that now, there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ, Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

He that believes on him is not condemned, but he that does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Then Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee; go and sin no more.
