I have been impaled with Christ. It is no longer I that live, but Christ lives in me. The life that I now live in the flesh (physical body) I live by faith. This is the faith that is in the Son of God. He loved me and gave himself up for me.

These are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. By believing you may have life in his name.

Jesus proclaimed: I am the way, the truth, and the life! No one comes to the Father except through me.

The Father raises the dead and gives them life. The Son also gives life to those he wills.

The love of God was made known through us. God sent his only-begotten Son into the world that we might live through him.

For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven. It gives life to the world.

I am the living bread that came down out of heaven. If any man eats of this bread he will live forever. Yes and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world. So then, brothers we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to flesh (human nature), for if you live according to flesh, you are about to die. If by the Spirit, you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

You were once dead because of your trespasses and sins.

They are darkened (blinded) (obscured) in their understanding, alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their heart.

That which is born from the flesh is flesh and that which is born from the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I say you must be born again. The wind blows where it will. You hear the sound of it. Yet you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. It is like this with every one who is born from the Spirit.

The mind of sinful flesh (fleshly thought) means death; but the mind influenced by the Spirit gives life and peace.

We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who does not love abides in death.

Whoever is born of God does not practice sin! His seed abides in him and he cannot sin because he has been born of God.

For His anger is only for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime! Weeping may last for the night but a shout of joy comes in the morning.
