Romans 13:6-7

2 Chronicles 24:6

And the king called for Jehoiada the chief, and said to him, Why hast thou not required of the Levites to bring in out of Judah and out of Jerusalem the tribute of Moses the servant of Jehovah laid upon the congregation of Israel, for the tent of the testimony?

But go and learn what that is I will have mercy and not sacrifice; for I have not come to call righteous men but sinners. Then come to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees often fast, but thy disciples fast not?
