Now there were in Antioch, in the assembly which was there, prophets and teachers; both Barnabas and Symeon who is called Niger, and Lucius the Cyrenean, and Manaen, the foster-brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. And, while they were ministering to the Lord, and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Separate now to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them." I planted, Apollos watered; but God causeth it to grow. So that neither is he that plants anything, nor he that waters; but God Who causeth it to grow. And he that plants and he that waters are one; but each shall receive his own reward, according to his own labor.read more.

But God attempered the body, giving the more abundant honor to that which lacked; that there might be no schism in the body, but that the members might have the same care, one for another. And whether one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or one is honored, all the members rejoice with it. Now ye are Christ's body, and severally members thereof. And God, indeed, set some in the assembly: first, apostles; second, prophets; third, teachers; after that, miracles; then, gifts of healings, helps, governments, various kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
