Mark 16:1-8

And when the sabbath was past Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices in order to come and embalm Him: and very early in the morning of the first day of the week they come to the sepulchre at sun-rising. Luke 24:1-12

And on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came to the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared; (and some others with them:) and found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre: so they went in, but found not the body of the Lord Jesus.read more.

But Peter arose and ran to the sepulchre; and stooping down he saw the linen cloths lying by themselves: and he went away, wondering in himself at what had happened.

John 20:1-18

Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene cometh early in the morning, while it was yet dark, to the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. She therefore runneth and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid Him. Peter therefore went out, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.read more.
So they both ran together, but the other disciple out-ran Peter, and came first to the sepulchre: and stooping down to look in saw the linen cloths lying; but did not go in. Then cometh Simon Peter, who followed him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen cloths lying there; and the napkin that was upon his head, not laid with the linen cloths, but folded up by itself. Then went in also the other disciple; who came first to the sepulchre, and he saw and believed. For they did not before understand the scripture, that He must rise from the dead. So the two disciples went away again to their own company. But Mary stood without near the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept she stooped down to look into the sepulchre; and there seeth two angels in white sitting, one at the head, and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. And they said to her, Woman, why dost thou weep? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid Him. And having said this, she turned back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. Then said Jesus to her, Woman, why dost thou weep? whom dost thou seek? She thinking that it was the gardener, saith to Him, Sir, if thou hast carried Him hence, tell me where thou hast laid Him, and I will take Him away. Jesus saith unto her, Mary: and she turned herself and said unto Him, Rabboni, that is to say, Master. Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not now; for I am not yet ascended to my Father; but go directly to my brethren, and tell them, "I am to ascend to my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God." So Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples, that she had seen the Lord, and that He had said these things to her.
