And it came to pass on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of an exceedingly loud trumpet. And all the people who were in the camp trembled.

Behold, I tell you a mystery. We will actually not all sleep, but we will all be transformed, in an instant, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet. For it will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be transformed.

Because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with a voice of the arch-agent, and with a trumpet of God.
