21 Bible Verses about The Lord Will Drive Them Out

Observe that which I command you this day: behold, I drive out before you the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

To cast out all your enemies from before you, as the LORD has spoken.

When the LORD your God shall bring you into the land to which you go to possess it, and has cast out many nations before you, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than you;

Understand therefore this day, that the LORD your God is he who goes over before you; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before your face: so shall you drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD has said unto you. Speak not you in your heart, after that the LORD your God has cast them out from before you, saying, For my righteousness the LORD has brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD does drive them out from before you. Not for your righteousness, or for the uprightness of your heart, do you go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD your God does drive them out from before you, and that he may perform the word which the LORD swore unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and you shall possess nations greater and mightier than yourselves.

And I will send an angel before you; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:

For I will cast out the nations before you, and enlarge your borders: neither shall any man desire your land, when you shall go up to appear before the LORD your God three times in the year.

All the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon unto Misrephothmaim, and all the Sidonians, them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only divide it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded you.

And the LORD your God, he shall expel them from before you, and drive them from out of your sight; and you shall possess their land, as the LORD your God has promised unto you.

And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before you.

For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and you should perish.

Defile not you yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

And the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you little by little: you may not consume them at once, lest the wild animals of the field become too numerous for you.

Not for your righteousness, or for the uprightness of your heart, do you go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD your God does drive them out from before you, and that he may perform the word which the LORD swore unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD your God does drive them out from before you.

To drive out nations from before you greater and mightier than you are, to bring you in, to give you their land for an inheritance, as it is this day.

For the LORD has driven out from before you great nations and strong: but as for you, no man has been able to stand before you unto this day.

And will go all of you armed over Jordan before the LORD, until he has driven out his enemies from before him,

I will not drive them out from before you in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beasts of the field multiply against you.

Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you be increased, and inherit the land.
