And therefore if any one be in Christ, he is created anew: old things are passed away, behold all things are become new.
and to put on the new man, which according to the image of God is created in righteousness, and true holiness.
Put on therefore, as the elect of God holy and beloved, bowels of mercy, benignity, humbleness of mind, meekness, long-suffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if any one has a complaint against any: even as Christ hath forgiven you, so also do ye. And above all these put on love, which is the band of perfection.
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that we might no longer be inslaved to sin:
and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge, after the image of Him that created him.
But put on the Lord Jesus, and make not provision for the flesh to gratify its irregular desires.
But we all with unveiled face beholding, as in a glass, the glory of the Lord, are transformed according to the same image from glory to glory, as proceeding from the Spirit of the Lord.

Abide therefore in me, and I will abide in you: for as the branch cannot bear fruit of it self, unless it abide in the vine; so neither can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches; he that abideth in me, and I in him, beareth much fruit: but without me ye can do nothing. If any one abide not in me, he is cast out as a useless branch and withereth: and they gather them up, and throw them into the fire, and they are burnt. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask what ye will, and it shall be granted you. Herein is my father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and so shall ye be my disciples.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that vanquisheth the world, even our faith.
For which cause we are not disheartened: but though our outward man decayeth, yet the inward man is renewed daily.
For He is our peace, who hath made both one, and removed the wall of partition from between us; having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that He might form the two into one new man, in Himself, so making peace; and that He might reconcile both in one body unto God, by the cross, having thereby slain the enmity:
Whosoever is born of God doth not practise sin, because his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
that He would grant you, according to his glorious riches, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit, as to the inner man;
strengthened with all might according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long-suffering with joy;
That, which is born of the flesh, is flesh; and that, which is born of the Spirit, is spirit.
