The spirit indeed is willing, but the body is weak. And He went away again, and prayed, after the same manner. And when He returned, He found them again sleeping, for their eyes were heavy; and they knew not what to say to Him. And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Are ye sleeping still and taking your rest? It is enough, the hour is come: behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise, let us go; see the traitor is at hand. And immediately while He was yet speaking cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests, and scribes, and elders: (Now the traitor had given them a sign, saying, The man, whom I shall kiss, is He; lay hold of Him and lead Him away safely:) and as soon as he came, he went directly up to Him and said, Master, Master; and kissed Him. And they laid their hands on Him, and apprehended Him. And one of those that were present, drawing a sword, struck at the high priest's servant, and took off his ear. And Jesus said unto them, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and clubs to take me? I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye did not seize me: but this is done that the scriptures may be fulfilled. And the disciples all forsook Him and fled: but there followed Him a certain youth, who had only a linen cloth wrapt about him, and the young men laid hold on him; and he let go the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.
