And he was transformed before them; and his face shone as the sun, and his garments were white as the light.

But every one in his own rank: Christ the first-fruit; afterwards those that are Christ's at his appearing. Then cometh the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom to God, and the Father; when he shall have destroyed every dominion and every authority and power. For he must reign, until he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy shall be destroyed, death. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, that all things are put under him, it is evident that there is an exception of him, who subjected all things to him. But when he shall have put all things under him, then also the Son himself shall be subjected to him who put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
