Give not that which is holy unto dogs, nor cast your pearls before swine; least they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you.

that there will come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the declaration of his coming? for except that the fathers are fallen asleep, all things remain as they were from the beginning of the creation.

Beware therefore, least what is spoken in the prophets come upon you, "Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and vanish; for I do a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though any one should declare it unto you."

knowing this, that a law does not lie against a righteous person, but against the lawless and unruly, the impious and wicked, the unholy and profane, parricides, murderers, whoremongers, sodomites, kidnappers, liars, false-swearers, and if there be any thing else contrary to that sound doctrine, which is according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I was intrusted.

What! know ye not that the unjust shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor rapacious persons, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the spirit of our God.

And you hath he made alive who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which ye formerly walked after the manner of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that still operates in the children of disobedience: among whom also we were all conversant heretofore in our carnal desires, indulging the appetites of the flesh and of our imaginations; and were by nature children of wrath, even as others.

But this know, that in the last days there will be difficult times; for men will be selfish, covetous, arrogant, proud, blasphemers, undutiful to parents, ungrateful, unholy, without natural affection, perfidious, false accusers, intemperate, savage, enemies to the good, traitors,read more.
headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness, but strangers to the power of it: from such turn away.

least there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one repast gave away his birthright.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who withhold the truth in unrighteousness;

But the heavens and the earth, that now are, by the same Word are kept in store, reserved unto fire on the day of judgement and destruction of ungodly men.

And if the righteous be saved with difficulty, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgement; and if He spared not the old world, (but preserved Noah an eighth person, a preacher of righteousness,) bringing a deluge upon the world of the ungodly; and reducing the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha to ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those that should afterwards be impious;read more.
and delivered righteous Lot grieved at the lewd conversation of the wicked: (for that good man by seeing and hearing their crimes, when he dwelt among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day with their iniquitous deeds) then the Lord knoweth how to deliver the pious from temptation, and to reserve the wicked to the day of judgement to be punished: especially those who walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise authority; who, being audacious and self-willed, are not afraid to speak evil of dignities:

For when we were yet without strength, Christ died in due season for the ungodly. Whereas one would hardly die for a just man, though perhaps for a good man one might dare even to die. But God recommendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

And so all Israel shall be saved, as it is written, "The deliverer shall come out of Sion, and shall turn away impiety from Jacob:

For the grace of God, that bringeth salvation, hath appeared to all men; teaching us that denying ungodliness, and worldly desires, we should live soberly, and righteously, and piously in this present world;

Dare any of you, having a matter of complaint against another, try it before the unjust, and not before the saints?

But avoid prophane empty harangues; for they will proceed to more impiety,

But profane and groundless fables reject, and exercise thyself unto godliness.

O Timothy, keep that with which thou art entrusted, avoiding profane empty babblings, and the oppositions of science falsely so called: which some pretending to, have erred from the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.
