16 Bible Verses about Unkindness

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and blasphemy, be banished from among you, with all malice. But be kind one to another, merciful, giving one to another, as God also in Christ gave to you.

You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy. But I tell you, Love your enemies, and pray for those that persecute you;

But I tell you that hear, Love your enemies; do good to those that hate you; bless those that curse you; pray for those that injure you;

Bless those that persecute, bless and curse not.

And whoever has the goods of the world and sees his brother have need, and withholds his compassions from him, how continues the love of God in him?

Then the Lord answered him and said, Hypocrites, does not each of you on the sabbath untie his ox or his ass from the manger, and lead him away to drink?

And he answered and said to them, If a son or an ox of any of you shall fall into a pit, will he not immediately take him out on the sabbath day?

Be hospitable one to another, without complaining;

Then shall he say to those on his left hand, Depart from me accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food; I was thirsty and you gave me no drink; a stranger, and you took me not in; sick and in prison and you visited me not.

And he sent messengers before him; and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to prepare for him. And they did not receive him, because he was going to Jerusalem.

Forget not hospitality; for by this some without knowing it have entertained angels.

And if a brother or sister is naked, or destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, Go in peace, be warmed and be filled, but gives them not the necessary supplies for the body, what is the profit?

although indeed he left not himself without a witness, doing good, giving rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

or do you despise the riches of his goodness and forbearance and long suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to a change of mind?

See then the goodness and severity of God; towards those that fell, severity, but towards you, the goodness of God, if you continue in goodness, for otherwise you also will be cut off.

that he might show in the ages to come the transcendent riches of his grace in goodness to us by Jesus Christ.
