because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we who are alive, who are left, will at the same time along with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so we will be always with the Lord.

And I saw, and I heard as it were a voice of many angels round about the throne, and the living creatures, and the elders: and their number was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands;

And I saw the seven angels who stood before God; and seven trumpets were given unto them. And another angel came and stood before the altar, having a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, that he shall offer with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which is before the throne. And the smoke of the incense went up out of the hand of the angel, with the prayers of the saints, before God.

saying to the sixth angel the one having the trumpet, Loose the four angels which have been bound at the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, who were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, that they should slay the third part of the men.

And after these things I saw, and the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in the heaven was open: and the seven angels, having the seven plagues, came out from the temple, clothed in clean, bright linen, and encircled about the breast with golden girdles.

And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God upon the earth.
