And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. But when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified, saying, "It is a ghost!" And they cried out for fear.

So when they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near the boat; and they were afraid.

And Peter answered him, "Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water."

So he said, "Come". Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus.
