I made myself pools of water, to water with them the forest that brings forth trees;

The land, into which ye go to inherit it, is a land of mountains and valleys and drinks water of the rain of heaven,

that I will give you the rain of your land in its due season, the early rain and the latter rain, and thou shalt gather in thy grain and thy wine and thine oil.

These are the origins of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens and every plant of the field before it was in the earth and all the grass of the field before it grew, for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and neither was there a man to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground.
