10 Bible Verses about Weather Causing Sufferings

As he that taketh away a garment in cold weather, and as vinegar upon nitre; so is he that singeth songs to a heavy heart.

In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there will be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Thus I was; in the day the drouth consumed me, and the frost by night; and my sleep departed from my eyes.

And the barbarous people showed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.

Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal to us, who have borne the burden and heat of the day.

And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; (for it was cold) and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself.

And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, we let her drive.
