And you shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.

But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues you shall be beaten: and you shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. And it shall turn out to you for a testimony.

Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.
