and as they were ministring to the Lord, and fasting, the holy Spirit said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul, for the work to which I have called them. Then having fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them they sent them away.

Now in the middle of the night Paul and Silas were praying and singing praises to God, and the prisoners heard them. And on a sudden there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bonds were loosed.

And they worshipped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.

and in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like the Son of man, clothed with a long robe, and girded about the breasts with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like white wool, as white as snow; and his eyes as a flame of fire; and his feet like fine brass, as if they were glowing in a furnace: and his voice as the sound of many waters: and He had in his right hand seven stars, and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun when he shineth in his strength. And when I saw Him, I fell at his feet as dead; and He laid his right hand upon me, and said to me, "Fear not, I am the first and the last, who live, though I was dead; and behold, I am alive for ever and ever, Amen, and have the keys of hades and of death.

And when they had prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken; and they were all filled with the holy Spirit, and they spake the word of God with freedom.

And the Lord said to Paul by a vision in the night, "Fear not, but speak: and be not silent: for I am with thee, and no man shall lay hands on thee to hurt thee; for I have much people in this city."

But if all prophesy, and there come in an unbeliever, or one unlearned, he is convinced by all, he is judged by all. And thus the secrets of his heart are made manifest; so that falling down upon his face he will worship God, declaring that God is indeed among you.
