Rebuke not an elder, but exhort him as a father, the younger men as brethren;

In like manner, ye younger, submit yourselves to the elder, and be ye all subject to each other. Be ye cloathed with humility; for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

thy father and mother (which is the first commandment with promise) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayst live long upon the earth.

and to requite their parents; for this is good and acceptable before God.

And not finding him, they went back to Jerusalem, seeking him. And after three days, they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them and asking them questions. And all that heard him were astonished, at his understanding and answers. And seeing him they were amazed. And his mother said to him, Son, why hast thou done thus to us? Behold thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. And he said to them, Why sought ye me? Knew ye not, that I must be about my Father's business? And they understood not the saying which he spake to them. And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them; but his mother kept all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

Let no one despise thy youth; but be a pattern to them that believe, in word, in behaviour, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Flee also youthful desires; but follow after righteousness, faith, love, peace with them that call upon the Lord, out of a pure heart.
