And behold, having examined him in your presence, I have found no guilt in this man concerning those charges which you make against him; neither did Herod, for he sent him back to us. And as they led him away, they seized one Simon of Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, and laid on him the cross, to carry it behind Jesus.

For, as it is written, "The name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you."
