13 Bible Verses about dung and manure

You shall also have a place outside the camp where you shall go forth. And you shall have a paddle on your weapon. And it shall be, when you sit down outside, you shall dig with it, and shall turn back and cover that which comes from you. For Jehovah your God walks in the middle of your camp, to deliver you and to give up your enemies before you. Therefore your camp shall be holy, so that He may see no unclean thing in you and turn away from you.

And you shall eat it as barley cakes, and you shall bake it with dung of the excrement of man, in their sight. And Jehovah said, Even so shall the sons of Israel eat their defiled bread among the nations, where I will drive them. Then I said, Ah Lord Jehovah! Behold, my soul has not been defiled. For from my youth up, even till now, I have not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither did there come any unclean flesh into my mouth.

And I went out by night by the Valley Gate, even before the Jackal Fountain, and to the Dung Gate, and looked at the walls of Jerusalem which were broken down, and its gates which were burned with fire.

Hanun, and the people of Zanoah, repaired the Valley Gate. They built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and a thousand cubits on the wall to the Dung Gate. But the Dung Gate was repaired by Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Beth-haccerem. He built it and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.

Then I brought up the rulers of Judah on the wall, and chose two great choirs of praise. One went to the right upon the wall toward the Dung Gate.

And answering, he said to him, Lord, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and throw manure.

It is not fit for the land, nor for manure, but men throw it out. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

Then He said to me, Lo, I have given you cow's dung for man's dung, and you shall prepare your bread with it.

he shall perish forever like his dung; they who see him shall say, Where is he?
