The Spirit said to Philip: Go near, and climb on this chariot. Philip ran to him, heard him read the prophet Isaiah, and said: Do you understand what you are reading? They both went into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. After they came out of the water God's Spirit took Philip away. The eunuch did not see him again. He continued his journey rejoicing.
