'Afar' in the Bible
And he will lift up a banner to the nations afar off, and will hiss for one from the end of the earth; and behold, it will come rapidly and lightly.
Is this your joyous city, whose antiquity is of ancient days? Her feet shall carry her afar off to sojourn.
I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from afar, and my daughters from the end of the earth,
