'Brandished' in the Bible

A proverb in the mouth of a foolis like a stick with thorns,brandished by the hand of a drunkard.

And every stroke of the appointed staffthat the Lord brings down on himwill be to the sound of tambourines and lyres;He will fight against him with brandished weapons.

The shields of his warriors are dyed red;the valiant men are dressed in scarlet.The fittings of the chariot flash like fireon the day of its battle preparations,and the spears are brandished.
