'Builders' in the Bible
Jesus asked them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:‘The [very] Stone which the builders rejected and threw away,Has become the chief Cornerstone; This is the Lord’s doing,And it is marvelous and wonderful in our eyes’?
Have you not even read this Scripture:‘The stone which the builders regarded as unworthy and rejected,This [very stone] has become the chief Cornerstone
But Jesus looked at them and said, “What then is [the meaning of] this that is written:‘The [very] Stone which the builders rejected, this became the chief Cornerstone’?
This Jesus is the stone which was despised and rejected by you, the builders, but which became the chief Cornerstone.
This precious value, then, is for you who believe [in Him as God’s only Son—the Source of salvation]; but for those who disbelieve,“The [very] stone which the builders rejectedHas become the chief Cornerstone,”
