'Calamity' in the Bible

He says to himself, “I will never be moved—from generation to generation without calamity.”

They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.

Let those who seek my life be shamed and humiliated. Let those who plot calamity against me be repulsed and ashamed.

Let those be ashamed and humiliated together who rejoice at my distress;Let those be clothed with shame and dishonor who magnify themselves over me.

Why should I fear in {times of calamity}, [when] iniquity surrounds me at my heels,

Have mercy on me, God, have mercy, for in you I have placed my trust. Even in the shadow of your wings will I find my refuge until this calamity passes.

Hurry! Look at the permanent ruins every calamity the enemy brought upon the Holy Place.

He sent His burning anger against them:fury, indignation, and calamity—a band of deadly messengers.
