'Chains' in the Bible
I, Paul, write this greeting by my own hand. Remember my chains. Grace be with you.
May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains.
for that [gospel] I am suffering even to [the point of] wearing chains like a criminal; but the word of God is not chained or imprisoned!
