'Children' in the Bible
There was a certain man from Zorah, from the family of Dan, whose name was Manoah; his wife was unable to conceive and had no children.
The Angel of the Lord appeared to the woman and said to her, “It is true that you are unable to conceive and have no children, but you will conceive and give birth to a son.

However, he did not put the children of the murderers to death, as it is written in the book of the law of Moses where the Lord commanded, “Fathers must not be put to death because of children, and children must not be put to death because of fathers; instead, each one will be put to death for his own sin.”
the Avvites made Nibhaz and Tartak, and the Sepharvites burned their children in the fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of the Sepharvaim.

As a father has compassion on his children,so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.

Let no one show him kindness,and let no one be gracious to his fatherless children.
He gives the childless woman a household,making her the joyful mother of children.Hallelujah!
Sons are indeed a heritage from the Lord,children, a reward.
and will see your children’s children!Peace be with Israel.
For He strengthens the bars of your gatesand blesses your children within you.
Let Israel celebrate its Maker;let the children of Zion rejoice in their King.

For this is what the Lord says:“Even the captives of a mighty man will be taken,and the prey of a tyrant will be delivered;I will contend with the one who contends with you,and I will save your children.
There is no one to guide heramong all the children she has raised;there is no one to take hold of her handamong all the offspring she has brought up.
Your children have fainted;they lie at the head of every streetlike an antelope in a net.They are full of the Lord’s fury,the rebuke of your God.
“Rejoice, childless one, who did not give birth;burst into song and shout,you who have not been in labor!For the children of the forsaken one will be morethan the children of the married woman,”says the Lord.
Then all your children will be taught by the Lord,their prosperity will be great,
Who is it you are mocking?Who is it you are opening your mouthand sticking out your tongue at?Isn’t it you, you rebellious children,you race of liars,
who burn with lust among the oaks,under every green tree,who slaughter children in the wadisbelow the clefts of the rocks?
“As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord: “My Spirit who is on you, and My words that I have put in your mouth, will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouth of your children, or from the mouth of your children’s children, from now on and forever,” says the Lord.
Yes, the islands will wait for Mewith the ships of Tarshish in the lead,to bring your children from far away,their silver and gold with them,for the honor of the Lord your God,the Holy One of Israel,who has glorified you.
