'Coals' in the Bible

Upon the wicked (godless) He will rain coals of fire;Fire and brimstone and a dreadful scorching wind will be the portion of their cup [of doom].

Smoke went up from His nostrils,And fire from His mouth devoured;Coals were kindled by it.

Out of the brightness before Him passed His thick clouds,Hailstones and coals of fire.

The Lord also thundered in the heavens,And the Most High uttered His voice,Hailstones and coals of fire.

Sharp arrows of the warrior,With the burning coals of the broom tree.

“Let burning coals fall upon them;Let them be thrown into the fire,Into deep [water] pits from which they cannot rise.
