'Dwells' in the Bible
The one who takes an oath by the sanctuary takes an oath by it and by Him who dwells in it.
No one has gone up into heaven, but there is One who came down from heaven, the Son of Man [Himself—whose home is in heaven].
He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood dwells in me and I in him.
You believe, don't you, that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I don't speak on my own. It is the Father who dwells in me and who carries out his work.
But the Most High dwells not in places made with hands; as says the prophet,
Now then it is no longer I that do it, but the sin that dwells in me.
For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not.
But if what I do not will, this I practise, it is no longer I that do it, but the sin that dwells in me.
but I see a different law and rule of action in the members of my body [in its appetites and desires], waging war against the law of my mind and subduing me and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is within my members.
However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.
But if the Spirit of him that has raised up Jesus from among the dead dwell in you, he that has raised up Christ from among the dead shall quicken your mortal bodies also on account of his Spirit which dwells in you.
Do ye not know that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
and one God and Father of all, who rules over all, acts through all, and dwells in all.
For the entire fullness of God’s nature dwells bodily in Christ,
who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.
I remember your sincere and unqualified faith [the surrendering of your entire self to God in Christ with confident trust in His power, wisdom and goodness, a faith] which first lived in [the heart of] your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am confident that it is in you as well.
Keep, by the Holy Spirit which dwells in us, the good deposit entrusted.
But, according to his promise, we wait for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness.
As for you, let that remain in you [keeping in your hearts that message of salvation] which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you too will remain in the Son and in the Father [forever].
We have come to know [by personal observation and experience], and have believed [with deep, consistent faith] the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides continually in him.
I know where thou dwellest, where the throne of Satan is; and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in the days in which Antipas my faithful witness was, who was slain among you, where Satan dwells.
