'Everlasting' in the Bible
But at the end of those days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven, and my sanity returned to me. Then I praised the Most High and honored and glorified Him who lives forever:For His dominion is an everlasting dominion,and His kingdom is from generation to generation.
He was given authority to rule,and glory, and a kingdom;so that those of every people,nation, and languageshould serve Him.His dominion is an everlasting dominionthat will not pass away,and His kingdom is onethat will not be destroyed.
The kingdom, dominion, and greatness of the kingdoms under all of heaven will be given to the people, the holy ones of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will serve and obey Him.’
Seventy weeks are decreedabout your people and your holy city—to bring the rebellion to an end,to put a stop to sin,to wipe away iniquity,to bring in everlasting righteousness,to seal up vision and prophecy,and to anoint the most holy place.
