'Helps' in the Bible

From the God of your father who helps you,And by the Almighty who blesses youWith blessings of heaven above,Blessings of the deep that lies beneath,Blessings of the breasts and of the womb.

Then the Spirit came upon Amasai, who was the chief of the thirty, and he said,“We are yours, O David,And with you, O son of Jesse!Peace, peace to you,And peace to him who helps you;Indeed, your God helps you!”Then David received them and made them captains of the band.

The Lord helps them and delivers them;He delivers them from the wicked and saves them,Because they take refuge in Him.

Now the Egyptians are men and not God,And their horses are flesh and not spirit;So the Lord will stretch out His hand,And he who helps will stumbleAnd he who is helped will fall,And all of them will come to an end together.

Each one helps his neighborAnd says to his brother, “Be strong!”

For the Lord God helps Me,Therefore, I am not disgraced;Therefore, I have set My face like flint,And I know that I will not be ashamed.

Behold, the Lord God helps Me;Who is he who condemns Me?Behold, they will all wear out like a garment;The moth will eat them.
