'Immense' in the Bible
Upon descending from the hill country He was followed by immense crowds.
So Jesus went out and saw an immense multitude, and felt compassion for them, and cured those of them who were out of health.
As they were leaving Jericho, an immense crowd following Him,
In those days, when there was again a large crowd [gathered before Him] and they had nothing to eat, Jesus called His disciples and told them,
As they came to rejoin the disciples, they saw an immense crowd surrounding them and a party of Scribes disputing with them.
But then, looking up, they saw that the stone was already rolled back: for it was of immense size.
But the immense crowd, aware of this, followed Him; and receiving them kindly He proceeded to speak to them of the Kingdom of God, and those who needed to be restored to health, He cured.
And when He looked round and saw an immense crowd coming towards Him, He said to Philip, "Where shall we buy bread for all these people to eat?"
and what is the incomparable greatness of his power toward us who believe, as displayed in the exercise of his immense strength.
But godliness actually is a source of great gain when accompanied by contentment [that contentment which comes from a sense of inner confidence based on the sufficiency of God].
And giant hailstones, as heavy as a talent, fell from the sky on the people; and people reviled and spoke abusively of God for the plague of the hail, because the plague was so very great.
