'Instead' in the Bible

Instead of perfume there will be a stench;instead of a belt, a rope;instead of beautifully styled hair, baldness;instead of fine clothes, sackcloth;instead of beauty, branding.

Instead of the thornbush, a cypress will come up,and instead of the brier, a myrtle will come up;it will make a name for Yahwehas an everlasting sign that will not be destroyed.

Instead of your being deserted and hated,with no one passing through,I will make you an object of eternal pride,a joy from age to age.
