For the arms of the wicked will be broken,But the Lord sustains the righteous.

The Lord knows the days of the blameless,And their inheritance will be forever.

But the wicked will perish;And the enemies of the Lord will be like the glory of the pastures,They vanish—like smoke they vanish away.

When he falls, he will not be hurled headlong,Because the Lord is the One who holds his hand.

The Lord will not leave him in his handOr let him be condemned when he is judged.

Wait for the Lord and keep His way,And He will exalt you to inherit the land;When the wicked are cut off, you will see it.

Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders which You have done,And Your thoughts toward us;There is none to compare with You.If I would declare and speak of them,They would be too numerous to count.

I have proclaimed glad tidings of righteousness in the great congregation;Behold, I will not restrain my lips,O Lord, You know.

You, O Lord, will not withhold Your compassion from me;Your lovingkindness and Your truth will continually preserve me.

Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me;Make haste, O Lord, to help me.

Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You;Let those who love Your salvation say continually,“The Lord be magnified!”

But You, O Lord, be gracious to me and raise me up,That I may repay them.

Arouse Yourself, why do You sleep, O Lord?Awake, do not reject us forever.

Come, behold the works of the Lord,Who has wrought desolations in the earth.

Why do you look with envy, O mountains with many peaks,At the mountain which God has desired for His abode?Surely the Lord will dwell there forever.

The chariots of God are myriads, thousands upon thousands;The Lord is among them as at Sinai, in holiness.

You have ascended on high, You have led captive Your captives;You have received gifts among men,Even among the rebellious also, that the Lord God may dwell there.

Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel,Who alone works wonders.

Like a dream when one awakes,O Lord, when aroused, You will despise their form.

Remember this, O Lord, that the enemy has reviled,And a foolish people has spurned Your name.

For a cup is in the hand of the Lord, and the wine foams;It is well mixed, and He pours out of this;Surely all the wicked of the earth must drain and drink down its dregs.

Make vows to the Lord your God and fulfill them;Let all who are around Him bring gifts to Him who is to be feared.

In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord;In the night my hand was stretched out without weariness;My soul refused to be comforted.

Will the Lord reject forever?And will He never be favorable again?

We will not conceal them from their children,But tell to the generation to come the praises of the Lord,And His strength and His wondrous works that He has done.

Therefore the Lord heard and was full of wrath;And a fire was kindled against JacobAnd anger also mounted against Israel,
