'Lying' in the Bible

Their eyes secretly watch the helpless, lying in wait like a lion in his den. They lie in wait to catch the afflicted. They catch the afflicted when they pull him into their net.

LORD, hear my just plea! Pay attention to my cry! Listen to my prayer, since it does not come from lying lips.

Let the lying lips be made still, especially those who speak arrogantly against the righteous with pride and contempt.
