'Name' in the Bible

The king said to him, "How many times must I make you solemnly promise in the name of the Lord to tell me only the truth?"

They rejoice in your name all day long, and are vindicated by your justice.

A psalm; a song for the Sabbath day. It is fitting to thank the Lord, and to sing praises to your name, O sovereign One!

Sing to the Lord! Praise his name! Announce every day how he delivers!

so they may proclaim the name of the Lord in Zion, and praise him in Jerusalem,
