'Opened' in the Bible
But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors, and leading them out, he said,
“We found the prison securely locked and the guards standing at the doors, but when we opened [the doors], we found no one inside.”
and he said, “Look! I see the heavens opened up [in welcome] and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”
Then Philip spoke and beginning with this Scripture he preached Jesus to him [explaining that He is the promised Messiah and the source of salvation].
Saul got up from the ground, but though his eyes were open, he could see nothing; so they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus.

and he saw the sky opened up, and an object like a great sheet descending, lowered by its four corners to the earth,
Opening his mouth, Peter said:“Most certainly I understand now that God is not one to show partiality [to people as though Gentiles were excluded from God’s blessing],
But [meanwhile] Peter continued knocking; and when they opened the door and saw him, they were completely amazed.
Arriving there, they gathered the church together and began to report [in great detail] everything that God had done with them and how He had opened to the Gentiles a door of faith [in Jesus as the Messiah and Savior].
A woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyatira, a dealer in purple fabrics who was [already] a worshiper of God, listened to us; and the Lord opened her heart to pay attention and to respond to the things said by Paul.
suddenly there was a great earthquake, so [powerful] that the very foundations of the prison were shaken and at once all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were unfastened.
